Welcome to the Initiative Artwork online exhibit.

The artwork seen here is the product of an Artist Initiative Grant I received from the Minnesota State Arts Board in 2012. I spent a year (May 2012-April 2013) completing a project to create new works for exhibit to the public.

All of the work posted is mixed media. The images of animals are drypoint etchings, printed on and collaged with handmade, hand-dyed papers. The final, additional artist marks are embroidery thread – French knots in these works. Click here for my artist statement.
